Marvel movies are always highly anticipated in this house and Thor Love and Thunder was a big one! This movie was different than what any of us expected. Overall it was pretty good but maybe a little too corny at times. It was fun to watch Kyrie blush (and maybe I did too) when Thor had his clothes flicked off. She may have fallen in Love with Thor.

Again coming up with the main dish is always the hardest! You will see so many ideas for drinks and desserts out there, but good dinners are hard to find. So we thought a bit on this one and our idea was super simple, but turned out cool! We made Thor hammers with hotdogs or (veggie dogs for Kyrie) and phillsbury biscuits. Also since there are 2 hammers out there... we made both Axes- We also made mini hammers out of cheese and pretzels for an appetizer in this one. It went over very well!

Since the title was Love and Thunder, we of course had to make two drinks for this! We had our Love drink, which consisted of Pink Lemonade with Chambord. Thunder consisted of Vanilla vodka, Orange Liquor and a splash of orange flavored La Croix. I didn't take a picture of the girls, but it was only Thunder for them, OJ and some of the Orange La Croix.

For the dessert, I really wanted to use these mini tart pans that I got for a present recently. So I made mini mango tarts.  I did make it all from scratch and were very tart to say the least. I also had this plan to make lightening bolts out of the mango, but as it so happened I ran out time. So they looked a little simpler. The girls didn't love it, but did enjoy the crust! It was fun to try something new and overall not bad.

I hope you enjoyed reading about our themed dinner for Thor: Love and Thunder. It's always fun to try a new dessert recipe even if the girls weren't the biggest fans! Comment below what you thought of the movie or if you tried anything yourself from above. Until next theme dinner!
