I saw this movie pop up on Apple TV and thought to keep it in my back pocket for a movie to watch for St. Patrick's Day. And that's exactly what we did! The movie is about a girl who is very unlucky and comes across a lucky penny which she ultimately loses and has to get it back. It follows her adventure as well as a black cat who accompanies her. It was a cute movie, but I can't say we have watched it again.

We went super simple on the theme and used our already St. Patrick's Day meal as the dinner. I made my annual Guinness Stew. It always turns out delicious and this time was no different! I love that I can throw it in the crockpot and not have to think about it until we are ready to eat. I also always get soda bread to go along with this meal, which only myself and Tyler seem to eat.

The dessert was Lucky Charms treats! I have done this before by simply swapping out Rice Krispies cereal for Lucky Charms cereal. Kyrie even made it all herself this time. Whomever makes it, it ends up an easy, lucky, and yummy dessert that the girls devour.

We wanted to make our own Lucky drink, so Tyler created a drink for us. It consisted of Jameson orange whiskey, Malibu Black Rum and green vitamin water (it was cocunut lime flavor). The girls only had the Vitamin Water. I am not a big whiskey girl, but I was able to drink it and even finish it. The girls enjoyed the vitamin water and both were a fun Irish green color.

Thanks for stopping by and reading this themed dinner. Hope you have a lucky day!
